The short course provides an introductory overview of Spina Bifida. Signs and symptoms of Spina Bifida will be discussed, as well as to treatment approaches that address the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of individuals diagnosed with Spina Bifida.

• Describe the medical aspects of Spina Bifida

• Recognize the cognitive problems resulting from Spina Bifida

• Understand the management of chronic conditions associated with Spina Bifida

• Utilize additional resources for further study
