Welcome to the Western Region Leadership Institute for Public Health & Primary Care. Today’s public health leaders are called to address complex challenges—ranging from workforce instability and health inequities to rapid organizational change—while maintaining trust, collaboration, and purpose.

- Continuing Education Contact Hours for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES): This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) to receive up to 28 total Category I continuing education contact hours (25 Credits designated as Advanced). - 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity)
- 28 Credits for Dietitians (CPEUs): As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the WRPHTC is approved to offer continuing professional education units by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. The WRPHTC designates this activity for 28 contact hours for dietitians. Dietitians should enter activities as type 102 on their Activity Log.
